well my insurance is going to replace my deh-7300 with a 7400. anyboby have one? one thing i don't like about it is that it only has two rca outputs instead of three like my 7300 and the voltage on the outputs is 2.2 instead of 4. What will this affect on my system being the outputs are lower than before? Will i have to adjust my amp at all to compensate for the drop? I really don't care that it plays MP3.

see if you can get the premier 740

its not that much more expensive

both of them are discontinued anyway.. the 75xx series is bout to come out

You will need to re-adjust your gains, they will need to go UP now to compensate for the smaller signal outputed via the RCA's.

With the lower voltage and higher gain setting you will be more prone to noise, but hopefully that won't be a problem.

I have the DEH-P7400MP & I love it so far but I have no clue how to adjust it for best sound & dont know what a mossphet(spelling ) does or is..also..what is a mp3 player..just downloadable music or something?
Thanks,Brian
