Thanks for the info John. My motor is basically a TSM motor with production heads, so your comment has got me to thinking... I'll probably get some GN-1's for next season and maye the distributor route is the way to go.

Aside from the notes by Ken and Joe, I'd appreciate any other notes or pointers about the distributor setup. ;)

Chris

I will try and put together a more technical exaplaination later.
In regards to your future heads you should really consider the TA
Race Heads.

John, Please refresh my memory does your car have an 8.5" rear in it or a Ford 9"??

Bro,

It has a 8.5 with C Clip Eliminators and 30 Spline Axles and a Posi.
The gears ar 3.90s and I welded up the axle tubes.
This is total junk for the kind of power I will want to make.
Not sure if I will put 33 Splines and a spool in it Cal Hartline Style or
try and sell it and pick up a 9inch.

I had a 9inch and we put it in Chris Chow's Car and one the went with the car I sold Big Stu!!!

That was a huge Air Filter for my old PT-70 and Stealth 70 I ran on my old stock block motor.
