Wow...

Now that is a very nice collection of Stage2 junk!!!! It is a good thing you have that extra garage space

Anybody wanna try and top this??? (With pics of course)

Thanks for taking pics and sharing John! :)

I have more, but I know my wife needed some attention so I came inside.

My Collection will never touch Odell's or Neal's.

John,

Why the distributor? Is there a reason you're not going with DIS, given the long dwell and charge times?

I am using the distributor because at power level I would like to make it is good for about 100HP.

I've noticed this "trend" to use distributors at higher power levels. I think the GM sponsored Ecotech Cavalier changed over to a distributor as well as others.
How does the distributor make more power than the DIS?

The waste spark design has issues:

Ken Duttweiler dynoed a twin turbo buick with the DIS then a Dist and the
dist made over 100 more HP. Please keep in mind this was a 1300HP Plus Motor. On Dave Bamford's TSM Motor the Dist was worth around 75HP.
The waste spark also causes issues with the wide band 0/2 readings according to Joe Lubrant.

Thanks for the info John. My motor is basically a TSM motor with production heads, so your comment has got me to thinking... I'll probably get some GN-1's for next season and maye the distributor route is the way to go.

Aside from the notes by Ken and Joe, I'd appreciate any other notes or pointers about the distributor setup. ;)

Chris
