Looking for the correct part# for the pinion yolk (if thats the correct term) for my '87 GN. The local dealer gave me 12471517. Just want to make sure I get the right thing. Is it 'yolk' or 'yoke'?

I got the rearend vibrations. :)

Thanks,
Eric

You can call it a yoke but it is most commonly called pinion flange. That part number is for a 7.5" rear. The part number you need is 12470387. This is the current replacement and is different than the original. The only thing that has changed is it uses a two piece pinion seal. A new seal comes with the flange. Eric Fisher
