PAG Oil Amount

Swapping out my AC compressor due to a leak with an AC Delco one without any PAG oil. Have done some reading that the initial amount is 8oz but should that be different with just a compressor change?

It’s been converted to 134a

When you pull the compressor off try to catch as much oil out of it in a container. Make you a good guess how much came out and reinstall that much or maybe a little more to account for some loss.

Next question is did you new compressor come prefilled with oil?

That is the amount of the whole system. Call the company you bought it from and ask them .
