??? On GNX Flares

I want to add flares to my car for the new set of street wheels I have but I do not like the look of the flares with my drag wheels. How hard would it be to remove them for the track an then put them back on for the street?? I know they have rubber that goes between them and the car so is it just held there by force of the flare against the body or glued?

Sorry for a stupid ??? just wondered before I waste money.

I am unsure about after market flares but GNX OEM flares do not use any adhesive to attach them to the car. The car looks quite unsightly without them due to the body being cut for the OEM GNX brackets for attachment points.

I think I put around 5 or 6 self tapping screws to hold the flares to the body. Would probably be really easy to remove. Not sure if the rubber "welt" would leave any marks on the body. I haven't removed them since I painted the car almost 5 years ago.
