oil pressure

Imo too many engines have too much oil pressure. I'm happy with 75psi at 6000rpm. One car here has 5w-20 in it and still hits 90psi at 6200rpm

Now bison.... how do you expect to win a bench race if you're not bending the needle on the oil pressure gauge?

20psi at idle still is low who are I know more than you my friend cause before my grand national I was the mustang man and never seen my oil psi that low lol

The Mustangs I compete with at the track are very competitive as the owners know their cars well, and we are always close at the finish line. They know nothing about a turbo Buick but they do respect it, especially if I cross the line first!

So let's not be too harsh on the OP, so maybe he can show his buddies what a 6 cylinder Buick can do!

He appears to be a competitive guy and hopefully he will be open to our help with his GN. We all had to start somewhere.

Perhaps after the head gasket diagnosis. With any luck it'll happen before the DOTC diagnosis.
