Had motor out of car to paint and clean etc. Drained oil and changed filter after removing motor. Filled engine with 5 1/2 quarts after re-installing the motor. Cranked it over with fuel pump off for 4-30 second intervals with no oil pressure. Checked guage by forcing oil into turbo oil line with hand pump- guage is fine.
Is there any way to prime this stupid pump without removing the cam sensor or removing the oil pump cover and filling it with vasoline? I tried cranking it while forcing 50psi down the turbo feed line with the hand pump- no luck!
