Curious as to what octane I would need with 17 lbs boost/ max of 26* of timing
The turbo tweek 93 octane street chip I have has the same 17 lbs. of boost, but has 19* of timing

thoughts?

1st, run more boost than timing when you're at this level of psi, sometimes 2 degrees is about 1psi of boost so - 20psi with 20 degrees would make more sense. That would need 100 octane minimum if you have the stock intercooler, you might be able to get away with 100 octane on the FMIC. Air fuel ratio etc are all factors in making that a reality.

17psi and 19 degrees is a safe FMIC setting with 93 IMO with a 3600lb GN in 3rd gear.

why do you want to run so much timing with that little boost. Try taking timing out and adding boost. You will be much happier with cars performance. What about fuel? are you adding or taking any fuel out of the chip?
