We replaced the cam on an 86 GN, and now we have no spark. The car would run before we replaced the cam. The crank sensor was broken, and replaced during changing (don't ask how:rolleyes: ). We have no spark at the coil pack. Is there any way to make sure the new crank sensor is good?

I need a lot of ideas of things to check, because i'm working on this several miles away.

thanks for any and all ideas.

You have the crank sensor ring in the wrong slot.

I,ve tried both slots on the 1 sensor, and have replaced that sensor with a known good one set to the outside slot away from the plug in. Is that the right slot? I have checked the fuses and they all looked ok.
