Need insight on ATR EMC-10

Can anyone help me with some info on an ATR EMC-10. My car came with one, and I know NOTHING about it. I am making some mods to the car so does that mean I need to get the chip reprogrammed? If so, who can I get to do it?

I have even given thought to just selling it and going with a good chip. Does anyone know what these things are worth? Why did they stop making them?

The emc-10 replaces the mat sensor, and atr made a chip that varied the timing based on the knob setting. It only works with the special atr chip. Nowadays most people leave the timing essentially constant and vary the boost while tuning, or use a translator plus to adjust the timing which works with any chip.
