So I'm Pretty new to Turbo Buicks. Owned plenty of Buicks though. Any way I bought an 86 GN in may, it had a few upgrades. The guy gave me an alky kit that he never got around to installing. I looked at how much it costs so It was pretty cool of him to just give it to me. The installation instructions were a little overwhelming but I think I could manage. So my question is what kind of benefits do you get with an alky kit? How difficult is the install? Thanks for the help

Here's a list of some of the upgrades

ta 52 turbo, 3.5 inch down pipe, turbo tweak chip, 60 pound motron injectors, flowmaster exhaust, shift kit. I've owned a lot of cars and this one is by far my favorite;

Who makes the alky kit? Do not uses the flowmasters. Alky allows you to run more turbo boost and timing on 91-93 octane. You can tune it and run 20+ psi.

flowmasters make some backpressure...not bad for a NA motor...not good for ours.
ALKY kit is a drawn out install...a day...but that is really taking your time and being meticulous.
