My motor is finally complete. After a blown headgasket trashed my motor with graphite from the stock gaskets, I had it refreshed. The big end of my rods needed a little resizing due to some detonation. Replaced the rod bolts, so we did another balance job. One of my wrist pins was binding because of some trash. Replaced my ported irons with ported M&A's and Isky 1.6 rockers. The ported stock intake was matched to the heads. The heads had receiver grooves cut in them, so they were removed. I went with the older Felpro gaskets, supposedly used in the Indy type applications that had extreme boost and rpms. Also went with the ARP bolts. The compression ratio is 8.2 to 1. This was verified with an electronic device that screws into the spark plug hole called a "whistler. JE pistons are used.
