My lastest 8 sec runs

I wish you would have commented on my truck post the other week. I was in the market for a new truck after a drunk driver totaled my 04 1500. The options were an 04 lb7 cclb and the 08 2500hd gas truck that I ended up with. The injector issues scared me away from the lb7.
My 03 and a friends 03 needed injectors at 35,000 miles. My 01 and my Dads 02 had the original injectors at around 80,000 when we traded them in. I probably wouldnt buy an Lb7 because of the uncertainty. Ofcourse my lml has issues with the cp4 pump. My truck only has 35,000 miles on it, but it is in the back of my mind. I am going to do a cp3 conversion.

It is a 153 stage 2 block. The turbo is the power limiter. The block just holds the power.
What kinda cam r u running and heads ? Stage ? Ta? How much boost ? Interested in your combo . And congrats on some super fast runs

Beautiful truck! I almost bought an 05 2500 gas just like yours but needed a transfer case replacement. 150k and priced at 4k it was a steal.

Rob, what made you want to go back to a SLIC? Was there any benefits in doing so?

I was stuck in the 8.9@150.6 to 151 range in tsm trim. Looking at how much co2 it took to make boost, I knew there was room for improvement with a different intercooler. I had this intercooler sitting in the corner and i knew Red had tested pressure drop in his car which makes similar power. A better designed front mount would work the same. I cant say better because my inlet temps are similar. This intercooler does need to cool down before giving it another hit though. The larger intercooler will take more heat before heat soak.
