Well I am finally doing a build that I can completely document. I bought this car on ebay a few months ago with the intentions of buying a completely ready to enjoy cruiser. It had a Champion headed, roller cam LC2 that put down almost 500 rwhp on 19lbs. After winning the auction the games began immediately. It was one story after another as to what was wrong with the car and why I couldn't have it yet. 2 and a half weeks later the car get's delivered and is a complete basket case. The 1st order of business was to pull the engine to fix all of the last "mechanics" mistakes. While out of the car my wheels started turning. I had a 07 LY6, which is a L92 headed 6.0, sitting around the shop. I decided that I want to make this car as reliable and daily drivable as possible. The obvious (to me) choose was to go with the LSx swap. I am doing as much fabrication on my own as possible. Here is my parts list as of now and some pics.
1987 Buick Regal Turbo T WE4
2007 LY6 with 62k miles
LS3 intake and rails
F.A.S.T. 65 lb LS3 injectors (may go smaller)

Comp Cam 232/236 .598/.601 114
Coated Pacesetter headers 98-02 LS1 F Body
Mast Oil Pan
Self made solid mounts
Electric fans
Aluminum/plastic radiator
ANS Built 200-4R with Vigilante 3200 stall
255 fuel pump
BMR rear arms
Stock 8.5 3.42 posi rear end
AIR CONDITIONING!
The car as I got it (the hood will never be back on there!)
The 1st frame mod and motor mount
Mounts and a/c frame notch done
Headers set in before test fitting
Passenger side header (needs trans ear cut off and clearance upper a arm otherwise fits great.
Driver side header (see pic below for only interference)
Where the headers hits the shift linkage (haven't decided on my fix for this yet)
Engine set in (need to modify the accessory bracket to clear the car intake)
Another angle (So much room in front of the engine!)
