Mini starter broke...

Heard a strange noise when car started. Did some investigating and found this. It is the Mike Savino sold at one point.

About the same thing happened to me. An injector driver in the ecm went bad and hydro locked the engine. Starter broke instead of bending something real important.

Car starts fine don't think anything else is wrong at this point..

the LT4 starter doesn't have a nose to break off..

Mike sold some real "quality" stuff, didn't he. There's a reason he dropped out of the TB scene and it didn't have anything to do with how decent a person he was.

Get a 96 Corvette starter from one of the national chains, lifetime warranty, and be done with it.
