Anyone else using pure methanol and Klotz Uplon lube? I have had the stuff in my custom kit for many weeks, and so far everything is perfect. No signs of any corrosion or soft part swelling at all.
I also use Klotz and Methanol. The local Bracket racers who use alky, recommended this lube as some other stuff will not mix with alky. Didn/t keep my Ford inline pump from going south.
Started the season with this pump. It lasted through the Bristol event. Then went out a few weeks ago. I would drain it after a race and put in drug store alky with lots of lube for the street use which was very little this year.
