I'm cleaning out my tool box and have founs several MAP sensors. I know I have 2 & 3 BAR. Not all of them have part #'s. Is there a way to test them w/ohm meter to see what they are.

Thx,
CC

Hope this helps. :D

The 2 bar's put about 2.5 volts with the engine running.

The 3 bar bout 1.6 volts

That above pic helped me out when I diagnosed that my MAP was bad. Couldn't go by application with the ME-R system since I didn't know exactly what the sensor came from in the first place. I would up finding a brand new AC Delco unit for $57 by the numbers stamped into the unit that was on the car.

Dont have a running cer to test it that way. But the above pic might work. Thx

I believe they are 5 volt sensors I suggested a car because not everyone has a 5V power supply handy

Key on engine not running. 2 bar is 2.4volts. 3 bar is 1.6 volts. Green wire.

Just plug it in to the factory harness and measure voltage on green wire. next is apply some air pressure and watch the voltage climb.
