Ls1 pwr steering pump question

Ok, this may sound like a dumb question. My ls swap has corvette brackets and pulley setup. When I was gathering parts , I noticed that a stock vette ps pump looks identical to the stock buick v6 pump. Sure enough, all the holes lined up, and I pressed a vette pulley on it. Just got the car started for the first time last night. No power steering. It was then I realized that the pump spins in the opposite direction as the buick setup did. Is there something I can do to make this one work? Or do I shell out the hundred bucks for a different pump? Any help is greatly appreciated .

AIRC, spinning it "backwards" won't work.
My LS project also has the Vette accessories. I got a new pump off the bag for about the 100 you mention.

That's what I was afraid of. Hopefully I can find one in stock, somewhere local. Thanks
