I really haven't had much spare time to spend on the board this year, but after Charlies passing I'm trying to make time for things here instead of waiting until I have time for things here. :)
 
I do the "EB" method.:D
I always do the cap face thing. Look at the cap, and you'll see the edges are beveled. The face sealer will fill that wedge area.
When building an engine, I've put the cap on, w/ a length of floss in the corner, snug it down, and find the floss can be pulled out. If there's that gap, it's a given the oil WILL find it.:rolleyes:
I've also used a spot of super glue on the ends of the seal, off set it, and go.
