my answer is dont street race!
If I do have red light action I blow em away 50 to 75 yards then shut down. I don't care if they go flyin by. not worth killing anyone.
I did that one night and saw traffic ahead it allowed my buddy to slide over and not rear end someone. He thanked me afterwards I told him my wife socked me one and called me a nut!

Even tho they were street racing it wasn't really their fault. They had the green light so it doesn't matter what they were doin anyone that went on green was gonna get plowed by the person who ran the red light comin the other way.
