lifter oil feed question

hi,
i have a 3.8 stage II. it currently has soild roller lifters and im thinking of going to hyd. roller lifters.my question is how big does the oil feed hole need to be in the lifter bore to convert over to hyd. lifters?

was the block drilled and plugged for the solid lifters? that stuff would need to come out first. As for orfice size, the current hole should suffice. you will need to confirm both banks oil galleys are tied together. I tie mine across the back rather then through the cam bearings.

one thing i am unsure of, is weather the bore will need to be bushed to cover the plug access hole in each lifter bore... you would nee to confirm that the hole doesnt uncover a critical area of the lifter during full lift with your cam.
