While checking a few servos I noticed that the Lester #'s were
different on covers which had the same casting #. Such as a 694
had a Lester-4, 2- 569's had a Lester 6 & a 2, 2-692's had a
Lester-6 and a 5. Does anyone know what the Lester #'s are for?

dont know but it seems lester is who casts the servos for gm .it may be a manufacturing code too. however the only numbers which are important and which enable you to tell them apart are the last 3 .usually 569 is 6 cyl,692 is v8 ,and 694 is turbo v6www.ckperformance.com

More than likely, it is the cavity number in the diecast die that produced them. Each mold probably produces 4-6 servo covers per shot of aluminum.
