knock sensor

when i put my engine together i never put a knock sensor back, i didnt know what it was and didnt know i needed it.... does it have wires running to it? how exactly do you install it? im gonna buy one tomorrow

It is the one with the connector which snaps onto the top of the knock sensor. Brad

i had a guy help me take the engine apart who believes you dont need alot of sensors,,, i have a blue wire with some exposed copper that looks like when we pulled the engine didnt disconnect the sensor and the thing that clips to the sensor broke off with it, maybe il find another car with same sensor at the junkyard

Blue wire is correct.
