Specs:
The sub, sub cage, and amp I bought new and have very little use on them at all.
Sub is a Kicker Comp 12"
Amp is a Kicker Impulse IX252
I'll tell you right now this combo will not win you any contests but that's not what it's built for. It gives a nice bottom end kick.
As for the box I custom made it out of 3/4" MDF. It's glued, got about 50 screws in it and caulked on the inside. The box is solid and also has a few lbs of polyfill. It is custom made to fit in the area shown in the pics. It fits perfect and as you can see I made sure there was enough room to fit with the rear seat braces. There is also room to fit under the rear speakers and room for the trunk tension bars as well.
I also drilled the holes in the amp rack so the wires line up nice and neat as shown in the pics.
As you can see my carpeting skills are not exactly up to par with my woodworking skills, but the way I had it mounted it looked perfect.
