So I'm all charged up to see the remake of "The day the earth stood still" so I went to an early showing with the wife and brats. When I saw Keanu Reeves was the lead I thought good choice. Well that might have been the only thing that movie had going for it, because I thought it absolutely sucked. If U were thinking of seeing it, wait for DVD. Too many times during the movie I thought to myself "Yeah OK that was just stupid". The protector Robot "GORT" never kicked ass like he did in the original. The movie like this post never seems to get to the point. I did however see the trailors for Terminator, Star Trek, Resident Evil (CGI-DVD release), and the Wolverine movie. They all look good but then again so did the train-wreck-of-a-movie I saw tonite.
