Is this a bad thing?

Just finished an '84-to-'87 conversion, and the cooling fan would not come on. The fan was tested and works. Found out that the '84 fuse block does not have a provision for the fan circuit... Long story short, wanting to make sure I had a working fan, I wired it so the high speed fan is on whenever the key is ON. Hopefully this will be only temporary until I can spend more time making it "normal." In the meantime, will this screw anything up?

Thx

If you used a relay then you shouldn't have any issues other than it draining the battery during low/no charge periods with the key on.
