I've been doing some thinking about how effective K&N filters really are. looking inside of my intake plumbing there is a very light coating of fine gray "dust". There is no doubt that oiled gause filters flow really well, but their filtration efficency leaves some to be desired. Is there a better alternative out there?

The K&N filters are junk when it comes to filtration. I use a chevy truck paper filter in a modified ATR filter housing. :)

AEM is making dry air filters which flow close to k&n numbers with way higher efficiency. AFE also makes them. this is usually what I reccomend
