Intalled SMC alky kit today

Very simple intall. After the installation, I took it for a test drive.
Befoe the install, I had my boost set on about 16 psi. During the test drive, max boost was around 17 to 17.5, with the pump speed set aout halfway up.. Absoulutely no knock at all. I plan on inceasing boost until I see little or no knock with fhs pump speen set on max. I hope to get the boost level to around 22-24psi w/minimal knock (just on the shifts). I am currrently running an extender chip with timing at 19*/17*. I'm considering adding spark translator.

I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, and should have it this week. Normally I run 15-16 psi in my 2.5l and at that level I am having quite a bit of detonation some times. I'm hoping to run 20 psi and maybe even more timing on pump gas. I totally agree with your "ready to go on the streep or strip" coment. That's my whole reason for getting it. This is my first post, I guess they don't like my name...
