Did car have a missfire all the time or just after car had reached running temperature. I'm having the same problem. My problem comes after car has reached running temp. I've changed plugs, wires, ign module, coil, fuel pump, filter and car still doing same thing. plan on checking that balancer though..
I recently had the same problem, back fire like a mofo out of the blue, harmonic balancer bolt was only finger tight.... my fault, impact wrench lost it's steam.....
Not sure, when I drove it last my scanmaster wouldn't come on. Haven't checked that out yet. Before then though cars coolant temp was normal...When it first started, I thought I had picked up some bad gas because I had just filled it up. Since then tank has been drained, blown out, and vacumed out. So I know gas isn't the problem.
