Injector removal

Well since the TB Tome (gnttype.org) is down, and I am installing my 009s, anybody wanna outline the removal/install procedure for the fuel rail?

Nothing to it watch out for egr solenoid i usually remove it broke
the nipples once.
Take an open end wrench to pry them out if u have a hard time.
A day before starting i lightly hose inj area to remove dirt and
before removal take a small hand vac to make sure all debri
is removed.
 
Leave the reg. on the fuel rail and use some vaseline on the o-rings---very easy install!!!

OK need help now

Took the regulator off, but it was otherwise an easy install. Only problem now is that I can NOT get my goddam FPR to seat!!! The damn thing drips and drips out of the regulator-fuel rail connection. Can anybody help?? I've lubed the O-ring with motor oil and pushed and pushed but it just doesn't want to seat.
 
Take REG completely off take off o-ring inspect both if okay flip o-ring over and install.
Hand screw reg to return line a couple turns - push reg into fuel
rail - install 2 bolts and tighten - tighten nut to return line.
Make sure fuelrail opening is clean of debri
You may need a new o-ring which is same size as inj o-ring.
 
Yeah, somehow there are some burrs that got in the cup on the fuel rail that the FPR sits in that are tearing up my O-rings. I'm gonna get a fine file and some emory cloth to remove them, and then use some vaseline to lube it up.

No clue how those burrs got there; nothing metal at all went into the cup during removal or installation. :confused:
