went to the track a couple weeks ago combo is in the sig. ran a 12.0 and 112. Should be 11.5@117. Dynoed the next day at 330hp/530tq. People recommended it get rid of the flowmaster exhaust since it’s very restrictive. I had a friend give an exhaust dump. Put it in and went to the track last night. Would up running a 12.9@99. Didn’t change anything at all with the tune. In two runs maxed out my injectors and pump. Should I have adjusted the tune to account for the dump?

Your problem started before the exhaust dump, so don't blame that.

What exactly do you mean by you maxed out the pump and injectors? How are you determining that?

The log. New pump and injectors. 100. And pump is a 450 at was reading 460 on the logs.

Last time at the Track injectors were at 70%dutycycle and pump was 360lbs

I'm not sure what the 450/460 is - is that flow?

Check your fuel pressure. If the regulator is bypassing too much fuel, it will cause low pressure and the injectors will needs to stay open longer to deliver the same volume.

Your WOT AFR should out of whack too. Could be running lean...and knocking...and pulling timing..

450/460 lbs per hour on the pump
7.3 actually 7.25 Target. 19* of timing through out run.

What size injectors are you running and what fuel? There is no way you should be "maxing" out the 450 pump with your mods. The XFI comes with it's own wb, did you disable or remove the AEM wb? You need verify the fp, wb accuracy and tune.

Just curious mods you have to be runnning a 12.0.

80s high impedence on e85 with a bit of them no top. WB not disconnected.

10132017 - 2043 is the log from last night with the exhaust dump
09222017 - 2159 is the log from the previous week without a dump.

I did not change the tune from one week to the other. Only change was the exhaust dump.

Fuel pressure ???? Gotta know this !

I have a hood mounted fuel gauge. I didn’t get a chance to see it on the run but it usually hits 65 from 38. 27psi of boost.

Interesting very similiar to mine. Thanks.

Suggest 3 things (based on you running E85 as a fuel type)

1) Start logging your fuel pressure
2) Raise your base fuel pressure 10 pounds
3) Verify Both system voltage and voltage at your fuel pump

Just out of curiosity is the dump just a plate or is it a electric dump?

-Have a fuel gauge off the rail on the hood. Just checked it today. From 38 tips out at 58ish. Wot is Alayn
-Vac line off it’s at 46. Same as two weeks ago and injectors and pump were 70% and 336lbs
-Voltage is good. Log shows voltage at 15.5

It’s a plate I have to take on and off.
