IAT sensor placement

Ok I know this has come up before but I cannot seem to find the thread on the best place to mount the IAT sensor. Seems like I remember someone placing it in the doghouse or the intake manifold. Any suggestions or is one place better than another?

The problem with intake is you have to pull it off to drill it, that is why the doghouse is used.

Both places will read the same.
