Right... I think this is clearly foaming...
What can cause this?
Engine off, the oil level is at top dipstick mark.
Engine on, the oil drops to the lower mark on dipstick.
After a few minutes... the oil level rises till two inches above the top mark. Furthermore... the line on dipstick seems less clear.
Pressures deteriorate during test after a few minutes. Needle vibrates.
I took it for a spin on highway and rigged an overflow. It filled.
Note, this is a lokar dipstick and tube. Never had this problem before however...
I can't imagine this is too full. What could cause this foaming? Could a kink in the cooling lines do this?
