I need help understanding knock relative to more power

Grumpy, the car isn't sluggish at anytime, it runs really good...I just want to go faster.



Right now I'm running 93 and about 18psi, I am seeing knock at 20psi
Not sure on the RPM, I'm going to fix my tach today
The o2 numbers are in the very high 700's 785-795

personally, i think your out of octane

That's a little too much boost for for high gear.

Options:
Turn down boost.
Run better fuel.
Install alky kit.

What "upgrade" makes the knock go away?

Alchy is your answer, 20 psi with 93 is KILLING your motor, , Red chip is probably burnt for 17 max I would estimate, keep the boost down 17 or least till you get the alchy and tt chip, injectors combo. For now just run it with 0 knock at 17 -18.

Rpm is not a big factor now that we know you are out of octane

That was a BIG chunk of information we were missing. You need octane for boost. 20PSI on 93 does not happen safely. You need an alky kit or a steady supply of race gas to turn it up anymore.
