how to reset code 24 (VSS)

does anyone knows how to reset code 24? (VSS) I am receiving code 24 on my scan master..

Unplug the orange wire at the battery.

That's right. Power down the ECM dumps the codes.
How long? Some say 30 secs....
Then what.. Plug it back in, and see if the code resets. If it does, time for troubleshooting the VSS.

I should have asked: Speedo work before the trans rebuild?
Did it ever work after the work?

yes, the speedo worked before and after the rebuilt. the code came after the tps went bad.
