Help with aldl cable and laptop

I just got a usb aldl cable, I'm having an issue getting info from it. My laptop is telling me its on comport 5, winaldl will only go to comport 4. Anybody have any suggestions or programs I could use.

Try changing the com port on the laptop ?? IIRC you used to be able to change the port # on some of the USB or emulated ports
