Heater value

I've got a strange question.

Does the vacuum controlled value that controls the hot water entering into the heater core fail?

This morning it was 19 deg here in Denver. It seemed that the heater never got warm and was blowing cool air.

I check the lines and they were hot (normal) at idle and running for 30 minutes and the radiator fan was turning on and off normally.

And if it is the value... Anyone know part numbers?

Update:

I don't think I am getting vacuum to the value...

Does anyone know where the line goes to? I can follow it up to the fender.

Goes inside the car to the heater selector valve or something like that if I remember correctly. You should be able to see it come out near the back of the glove box. I think the hard line is pink inside the car on mine?...
