has anyone tried this

I think there was a disscussion on things like this awhile ago. It would theoretically work, but if you sprayed it during a race it would do no good since the fins have to absorb it, then relay it to the intake air. In other words you'd have to spray it pre-race. I never tried it but thought about it.

Don't waste your money!!!! for under $20 you can convert your windshield washers to do the same thing and if you use alcohol, it will do it better when moving. That system might work on a dyno with very little air going through the intercooler, but it is simply a waste in the real world.

I think it may help a little since any cooling of the air charges is good. I don't think I'd wnat to spray alcy on my motor when driving. I could be wrong but it seems a wee bit dangerous with all the hot parts under the hood.
