I helped him a little through his first DIY engine rebuild. He's got my welded and ported stock intake on it. I never did use it myself.
After he first got his engine started after the build, he came by the shop complaining of very low oil pressure. He checked everything. Just trying to think of the most wierd and likely assembly error, I asked him about the lifter galley plugs behind the cam gear. He went home and checked. That was it.
