TRACK - The race season at Gateway International Raceway is quickly coming to a close. The club will go to the track on Tuesday, October 7th for their 2nd to last Street Car Shootout Series night of the year. (Rain date, October 14th) Bring your GS, T, GN, or anything Buick powered out to enjoy some runs at the track against all the Brand X cars.
MEETING - The next Gateway BPE meeting will be @ the home of Jeff Heinrich next Sunday, October 12th.

- A demonstration of ignition system testing for electronic ignition systems on turbo V6 Buicks using the Casper's tester.
- A discussion of deficient modern oils and how they can affect your V8 or V6 musclecar.

This unique event offers "instant green" Outlaw style racing, drifting, music, and more! (Target crowd is upper teens and 20somethings.) The U.B.D.R.A. "Black Sunday" event has been rescheduled due to weather. It will now take place on October 17-19. See United Black Drag Racers Association for more info.
In November the club will see about holding a dyno session. This will be discussed during the meeting.
