I'll admit, one time I started to do a burnout in the box in reverse. At my strip, you have to pull around the water, and back into it. Pretty embarrasing, but I think launching in reverse would be worse.

I remember a friend of mine raced a guy in a mustang with his 86 GN. Spotted the mustang 4 cars, backed up to do so. Did the same thing as that TA, but due to quick reflexes(and a fast Buick), recovered and won the race. That still comes up from time to time talking about racing:biggrin:
