fuel pump problems

Thought it was the pump so I bought a brand new drop right in from racetronix . Now the pump won't turn on and I thought it was this relay but I replaced that and it still won't come on . I'm thinking it has something to do with that connetor because I ran a piece of wire from the red constant power wire coming from the hot wire kit to the pump wire and it started the pump . Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance yes I checked my fuses

do you have (and/or know how to use) a volt meter?

I'm getting power from the front to that connector but not from the connector to the pump . When key is in on position there is no power in the wires going to the pump

Go to the factory fuel pump relay under the hood. Unplug the relay. Make a jumper wire and jump c and d on the relay plug. See if that will make it run.
