What size is the steel fuel lines going into the fuel filter I'm anticipating a repair when I change the filter. They look real rusted It's probably a excellent chance I'll be repairing line please chime in.

I can't remember what size they are, but years ago I stripped the line going from the fuel filter back. I ordered a replacement stainless piece from Classic Tube.

Make sure you use a flare nut wrench to lessen the chances of rounding it off.

I think feed line is 3/8 and return is 1/4

THere are repair sections available from NAPA and most other parts stores with the proper Saginaw fittings already sweged on. You will have to do some tight bending to it, but it is doable. THey come with compression fittings to splice them in. This is if you do not want to replace the complete line. Be careful, as a fuel leak at 60psi near the exhaust is real bad Karma.
