I have a feeling i'm about to get slammed with 3 negative feedbacks from the same buyer. If you care, read on.
I sell Hitchcock chairs on Ebay. I put a set of 6 chairs up, someone won them, I shipped them yesterday. The Sunday the auction ended I was going to put up a set of Hitchcock Ladder back chairs because I found a new set of chairs that I wanted to replace the ladder back chairs with (the ladder backs are around my DR table). Come to find out that the ladder back chairs cannot go UPS so I deceide to sell the other set. It is the exact same set as the one I sold this person only in near mint condition. The price reflects this on Ebay , because currently they are going for $300 more than what he paid for the set he won and it ends tomorrow.
He emailed me 3 times today complaing. He said he feels bad because of the way I described these chairs. They got a better description because they are in better condition. He explained to me that he specifically asked about arm chairs. I told him I couldn't break up the set in the first place because the chairs are in 2 different conditions and each set needs a damn arm chair. I waited 2 hrs after the auction ended to put the new one up so it didn't confuse anyone (his high bid was up days before I deceided to sell the 2nd set). I think he expected me to 1. have clearavoiance and know I was going to sell them, and 2. I think he wanted me to tell him to retract his bids on my 1st set, so he could buy the 2nd set. Its used furniture, so I know he can find stuff to bitch about even though I included 6 pictures and informed buyers to email me for additional pics.
My ? is, is there anything I can do if he leaves neg. feedback to get it erased or head him off by informing ebay??
