I was reading a board a while back that was discussing formula one engines, namely the cylinder heads and their volumetric efficiencies. One person stated that the reason formula one cylinder heads provide so much efficiency is due to the fact that they do not have cylinder heads, but rather use pneumatic devices to open and close the valves. is this at all accurate, and if so could someone fill me in on more of the details on the make up of a formula one cylinder head, and perhaps teh rest of the engine...thanks.
