Former stolen race car

Look at the upper radiator hose again, and then ask your self "does it really have to make sense?"

Back in the bad old days the rear line lock was an idea to help launch the car.

I know people who tried it, but I can't say it was successful.
Nothing wrong with experimentation. But wouldn't you get the same effect if you just hold the brake pedal? I can see why it wasn't successful.

I prefere to at least try and do things that make sense.

5000 a steal!

Ya great deal ,,but wait..... the upper rad hose that we all see and say what the hell was this guy thinking? Kinda makes you think if he did that and thought, "ya that should be just Fine!" ;) What else did he do that should be 'just fine?" That may turn into a big can of worms!!

What's next to the line lock solenoid?

It could be a brake proportional bypass soleniod i.e. rear brake booster.
It will allow full brake pressure to the rear wheels for better holding power.
Some of the vendors used to sell them as brake jumper or some name like that.

Probably a jumper valve.

I put one on my car, and it works great. 1.43 60' off the foot brake. :)
