I have a PTS Xtreme Killer street 2004R in my regal. been 5 or 6 years since the fluid has been changed. I dropped the pan tonight and drained it. I had a leak around the pan gasket (cork w/ metal) the other reason I wanted to drop the pan.
I am going with the duraprene rubber gasket, but wasn't sure about the filter. It has the rear feeder bottom sump w/ the brass screen. Can I just flush the filter out with Brake Clean andRe-use it?? or should I get a new one? I would think I should replace that gasket between the filter and the sump??? I was told this is a 200c filter? any input? Lots of questions.......thank you!!!
