Nice looking orange, you still going to trailer the car down there or just let it sit at home lonely while you are gone?

If i still own it on May 12th,It will be there.
I will also deliver it there for any buyer

Was the red paint on the block extra or included in the price of the block?

Best of luck with the project.

Thanks,Its actually more orange than red and was included.
Not the color i would have chose.

Would be great to have it ready for Orlando this year,Time will tell.

You know I like it. If I were starting over right now I'd go LS based also.

The new stuff today is AMAZING! The new LS series GM stuff and the Mod Motor Ford stuff can make some SERIOUS horsepower.
That LSX block has the standard SBC/BBC trans bolt pattern, doesn't it?

What are those 2 extra holes for?;)

Seriously, that is bad azz!

Very nice piece Otto! Don't know your plans for the car, but if I were you wanting to go Radial racing I'd probably get a nice 3rd or 4th gen F-body cause it's hard to beat them considering the factory torque arm suspension... Surely you already know this considering Mr. Anderson's Radial car that he is building:cool:

In any event, please keep us updated on your project as I'm sure whatever you decide to build will be a badass ride:)

Does anyone have information on the LSX Heads?
I can't seem to find much information on them.
You could always build the motor with a 4 bolt head, but I would rather
wait. From my understanding the 6 bolt World/Warhawk Heads will not line up
with the LSX Block.

John, What about the Allpro heads?? Seems like some of the more serious FI LSx guys like Harlan and W2W are using these...

All Pro L1-L6 Generation 3 Precision Cast Head

Here is a thread I found where Harlan was selling a set and even gave some flow #'s~
LS1TECH - Ported All Pro heads w/ Jesel rockers setup for solid roller

The new Super Chevy magazine has a build up with the new LSX block stroked to 450cu, they are using GMPP's new LS head with the extra bolt holes, supposidly flow like crazy out of the box. That motor made 640hp on crappy pump gas with a mild cam. The tall deck version of the LSX block has the ability to clear huge strokes, almost 500ci!
