first g-tech times stock 87 cat back exhaust

okay i got a hold of a brand new g-tech pro.
made some runs,my buddy at work was selling to me for a 130 bucks,then he decided that his 2006 charger rt runs faster so he had two gtechs one for his recently sold silverado ss,he gave me the unused one,we are going to see who has the best gtech times,if i win i get the gtech for free,if he wins i have to give him the 130 he wants for the gtech + 50.so i made a couple of runs after reading the instructions.

he only has a cat back exhaust and cold air intake he says
his avg is 14.2 1/4 at 98.2 mph we will only use the 1/4 mile times.i have only and torque tech 3inch catback with
flomasters and 2 1/2 hi-flo cat and complete tune up.
have not installed my walbro and hotwire kit yet.

Do you have a scantool to monitor for any knock? If that chip in your car is stock I would get a modern chip in it before you race him, also put that hotwire kit on the fuel pump.

Go to the track and get a time slip.
G-tech.....not sold on it's accuracy. Does nothing for tuning, it's more like eye candy for the driver.

I dont want you to blow your head gaskets so I hope you have a knock detector, but I would run some 110 octane turn up the fuel pressure and turn up the BOOST! that should be worth a second or so

going to put the fuel pump and hot wire soon.working 3rd

Get yourself a modern chip also, then g-tech with him, do a g-tech with the stock chip then pop in a modern chip and g-tech the car, you will see a difference.
